Thank you so much for visiting our PTA National School of Excellence Page! Based on the results from our Fall Survey we saw that families wanted more information on how Sope Creek helps families translate information as well as what Sope Creek does to help make the transition to middle school a smooth one! We hope you have seen this information in our weekly newsletter, Week at the Creek, as well as in the school newsletter but if not we have it below for you to take look at. On this page, you will also find a letter with more information about the National School of Excellence as well as a link to take the survey. We thank you in advance for taking the survey to help Sope Creek become a 2023 National School of Excellence!

Dear Families, Administrators and Teachers:
The Sope Creek PTA knows that a strong partnership among our families, school leaders and community members is important to the success of our students and school. That’s why we are participating in the National PTA School of Excellence program, which grows partnerships between PTAs and schools to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being of all students.
As a National PTA School of Excellence, families feel welcomed and empowered to support student success, and PTA is a key partner for continuous school improvement. We feel Sope Creek and our PTA can achieve that together—and the result will be national, state and community-wide visibility for the positive impact we are making together at Sope Creek.
We need your help! As part of the process, National PTA requests feedback from families, administrators and teachers at two points in the school year - beginning and end. Sope Creek received this two-year designation in the 2016 and 2019 school years and we will need your help in completing this survey again to be considered for the National PTA School of Excellence designation in 2023. Your feedback will help National PTA generate a customized guide which will provide specific recommendations for improving our family-school partnership and achieving excellence.
Please take 5-10 minutes to reflect on your experience at this school and complete the attached survey. Select the box that most accurately expresses how you feel about your experience. This survey is completely anonymous. Please complete this brief online survey by Wednesday May 10, 2023.
Sincerely,
Julia Hoitink and Lauren Lynch |
